Wish Upon a Hero

While I am away this week, I wanted to thank all of you who are praying for me, for my health issues and medical testing. I will return all of your e-mails when I get back from my blogging break.
Your continued prayers are so very important to me.
I should know some of the answers to my questions by the end of the week.

Thank you Nana Diana for posting a prayer request on your blog.
Thank you to my friend, Tracy who sat with me today at the docs office and
waited in the waiting room while I had a couple of tests done, and thank you, Tracy for the
beautiful flowers.

Thank you to my brother, Alan who called me several times today to check up on me.
I'm not used to going through this kind of testing without my hubby. Is anyone ever ready to go through tests for Cancer anyway? Usually my sweet husband is
there holding my hand, but he had to be in Poland this whole week for work. I will find
out the results while he is away....so let's pray they are good!

In the meantime, I will continue my prayer and fasting this week. God is so good, and already giving
me long awaited answers to some prayers....and HOPE for my future. He continues to use me
to minister to the flock from my pastorate, even though I moved away 7 years ago and that flock
continues to breathe the life-giving Word of God into my spirit. I am so grateful and blessed.
Like the post I did a few days back about the baby birds getting their wings...my baby birds
have tested out their wings since I have been gone, and every once in awhile they swoop down
low enough to brush me with them--right when I need it.

I want to share with you a link where you can donate any amount, small or large
to help someone who used to volunteer in my ministry. Her name is Jennifer.
She spent some time in the hospital in October because her gums and teeth were so
infected and she needs our help.

You can find her link at Wish Upon a Hero

Bless you all. You are all so special to me....each and every one!

I hope your news will be wonderful, and how good it is that people are stepping up to be with you. That is hard when your hubby is in Poland. How good your far away flock still flies by and is prospering.

I understand what it is like going through test for cancer and hearing bad results, thank God my results were only stage one endometrial cancer. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and that your results will be good news. May God wrap his arms around you and give you comfort.

Oh Mary,
I came over here through Diana's post - I didn't know you were having tests taken right now. I will say a prayer for you, dear friend, and I want you to know how much your friendship means to me. Sending a big hug your way.
